Senior MS SQL Database Developer | REMOTE
OnTrac is hiring a Senior MS SQL Database Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL Server databases and ensuring their performance, availability, and security. The ideal candidate should have exceptional skills in T-SQL, database architecture, performance tuning, and data integration.
Requirements
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
ā¢ 5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server development
ā¢ Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including complex queries, indexing, and performance tuning
ā¢ Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server Agent
ā¢ Solid understanding of database design principles and normalization
ā¢ Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
ā¢ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
ā¢ Expertise in cloud-based SQL solutions
ā¢ Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools
ā¢ Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments
ā¢ Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are a plus
ā¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
