About the Role As a Senior MES Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of MES solutions for greenfield automotive projects. This will involve defining MES architecture, selecting and configuring MES solutions, integrating MES with other enterprise systems, and overseeing system deployment and validation. You will also play a key role in developing and executing project plans, managing project resources, and ensuring successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints. Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of MES solutions for greenfield automotive projects, including defining MES architecture and selecting/configuring MES solutions Integrate MES with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, SCM, and CRM Oversee system deployment and validation, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints Develop and execute project plans, managing project resources and stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality Provide technical expertise and guidance on MES solutions and best practices Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and test plans Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Overall 12+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) area, with a deep understanding of supply chain, production, and material planning within the automotive industry Minimum 4 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MOM/MES programs, including assessment, blueprinting, fit-gap assessment, solution design, and configurations Hands-on experience with standard MES products or bespoke MES solutions Understand interface/integration technologies and have a good understanding of customers' needs, translating them into requirements Comprehensive MES implementation experience, encompassing the entire process from material receipt to finished goods Proficient in Machine Integration within MES processes Fundamental knowledge of PLCs Knowledge of the Automotive or Manufacturing domain is essential Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Business Process Consulting, particularly in automotive manufacturing processes Problem definition, case, and workflow design, detailing of processes, and process modeling Experience working with Agile scrum teams, analyzing prioritized user stories to define sprint scope Experience in MSSQL development What We Offer Career Growth Opportunities: At Capgemini, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
