A Day in the Life of Our Senior Manager of Customer Analytics

As a Senior Manager of Customer Analytics at arenaflex, your day will be dynamic, fast-paced, and deeply impactful. You'll start by collaborating with the Customer Success team to understand their data needs and priorities for the day, ensuring alignment on key initiatives and emerging opportunities.

Your tasks will span a diverse range of analytical activities, including:


Analyzing customer performance and usage data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Generating actionable insights that drive customer satisfaction and retention improvements
Working closely with the Revenue Operations team to ensure data accuracy and availability for analysis
Communicating your findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including Customer Success Managers and Leadership
Presenting insights to senior client stakeholders to drive informed decision-making and strengthen relationships

Team Structure & Collaboration

You'll join a team of approximately 40 talented professionals across the Revenue Organization, which includes Marketing, Sales, Sales Engineering, Solutions, Customer Success, and Operations. This cross-functional environment offers rich opportunities for collaboration, learning, and professional growth as you work alongside experts from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $146,250 – $170,625

What We'll Trust You to Deliver

Strategic Analysis & Forecasting


Analyze current customer data and business strategies across product, marketing, and credit to identify actionable insights that drive business growth
Be responsible for explaining performance variances to senior leadership and recommending remedial actions to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities
Develop forecasting models and predictive analytics to anticipate customer needs and market trends


Drive Strategic Initiatives


Lead data-driven initiatives to enhance partner growth and profitability across our client portfolio
Convert analytical insights into specific, actionable recommendations for fraud detection and authentication improvements
Collaborate with the Customer Success and Marketing teams to define project deliverables and timelines for strategic initiatives
Enhance and maintain dashboards and reports to track customer health, usage patterns, and performance metrics
Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and analytical methodologies to improve insights


Stakeholder Engagement & Communication


Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Product, to gather requirements and implement data-driven solutions
Develop and present key recommendations and findings to senior leadership at arenaflex and our valued customers
Support Customer Success Managers with creating executive business review reports that tell compelling data narratives
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize customer workflows and improve the overall customer experience
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, including those in credit risk roles, to understand their needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions


What You Likely Bring to the Table

Essential Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years of proven experience working in data analysis, preferably in a customer-facing role within the fintech or financial services industry
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A strong executive presence, with familiarity and fluency when interacting with senior clients in credit risk and other financial domains
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively


Preferred Qualifications


Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a related field
Experience working with enterprise-level financial institutions or fintech companies
Knowledge of credit risk modeling and fraud detection methodologies
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and big data technologies
Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics
Background in product analytics and customer lifecycle management
