Senior Manager, Care Management (Remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Care Management to join our team at Aetna Better Health of Texas. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting health services strategies, policies, and programs that drive the delivery of high-quality healthcare to our members.
In this role, you will oversee and manage a team of care managers, ensuring the effective operation of care management and care coordination activities across the continuum of care. You will also serve as a technical, professional, and business resource, providing expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical management, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a clinical setting and 7 years of administrative/management experience. You will also have a dynamic, unrestricted Texas State License in the appropriate functional area (e.g., RN, LPC, LCSW) and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Requirements:

7 years of experience in a clinical setting
7 years of administrative/management experience
Care management experience
Knowledge of regulations, standards, and policies related to clinical management
3+ years of experience in computer, keyboard navigation, and MS Office Suite applications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Managed care experience
Certified Case Manager (CCM)
Texas Medicaid experience – specifically TX STAR and CHIP
