Job Title: Senior Java Developer- Production Support Location: Remote

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and MongoDB, and hands-on experience in production support activities, including monitoring, root cause analysis (RCA), and hotfix deployment. Experience in the Payments domain is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and MongoDB.
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
ā¢ Ensure high application availability and performance by proactively monitoring and addressing production issues.
ā¢ Lead and participate in production support activities, including:
ā¢ Real-time monitoring and alert handling
ā¢ Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical issues
ā¢ Applying hotfixes to resolve incidents promptly
ā¢ Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
ā¢ Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
ā¢ Coordinate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and release cycles.
ā¢ Maintain a strong focus on application security, reliability, and data integrity.
Required Qualifications:
ā¢ 8+ years of experience in Java application development.
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and MongoDB.
ā¢ Proven experience in production support, including:
ā¢ System monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Harness)
ā¢ Performing RCA and issue resolution under tight timelines
ā¢ Applying hotfixes and managing deployments in live environments
ā¢ Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-based deployments (e.g., AWS, Confluent Kafka and docker.
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience working in the Payment domain (e.g., transaction processing, fraud detection, payment gateways).
ā¢ Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systems.
ā¢ Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
