Senior Internal Security Investigator (Remote)

About the position We have an exciting opportunity to join the SIU team as a Senior Internal Security Investigator! This is a Remote position. As a Senior Internal Security Investigator, you will conduct non-field investigations of suspected cases of fraud or other illegal activities against the Company, including interviewing, database inquiries, taking statements, and locating sources of information and witnesses. Responsibilities include evaluating information to determine its credibility, referring investigation assignments to outside agencies, and providing training and support to all departments in the claims handling process. The shift schedule is Saturday through Wednesday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. This role is fully remote and eligible for weekend work shift differential. Responsibilities • Conduct non-field investigations of suspected cases of fraud or other illegal activities against the Company. • Interview witnesses and take statements. • Perform database inquiries and locate sources of information. • Evaluate information to determine its credibility. • Refer investigation assignments to outside agencies. • Provide training and support to all departments in the claims handling process. Requirements • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. • Must be able to multi-task. • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information. • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. • Must be able to handle heavy claim volume and stressful situations.
