Drive Analytical Innovation: Collaborate with internal audit staff to identify and implement analytical and automation opportunities that enhance audit effectiveness and efficiency
Automate Manual Processes: Design and develop robotic process automation (RPA) and analytical process automation (APA) solutions to eliminate manual, repetitive tasks and free up team members for higher-value activities
Create Visual Dashboards: Build compelling Tableau dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key risk indicators, audit findings, and business performance metrics
Conduct Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical techniques to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and detect anomalies that may indicate fraud or control weaknesses
Implement Continuous Monitoring: Develop and maintain continuous monitoring programs over high-risk areas to provide proactive risk identification and early warning capabilities
Deliver Training: Create and deliver comprehensive data analysis training programs for internal audit staff, building organizational capability and fostering a data-driven culture
Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Work collaboratively with business units to understand underlying risks, processes, and control frameworks that require auditing

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Data Management, or a related field with analytical or quantitative emphasis
Strong SQL skills with a working understanding of databases, ETL processes, and data modeling across unstructured or semi-structured datasets spanning multiple business functions
Ability to develop production-level code for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Demonstrated experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, KNIME, OBIEE, or Alteryx
Proven experience interpreting data, designing statistical approaches, and analyzing results using exploratory and statistical techniques
Hands-on experience leading ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) initiatives
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate findings effectively to colleagues across the organization, including executive leadership
Strong technical skills and a genuine passion for data analysis and investigation, combined with intellectual curiosity to explore the causes and effects of business outcomes
Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment
Analytical skills using SAS, R, or Python
Solid understanding of statistical methodologies including regression, predictive modeling, forecasting, time series analysis, and clustering, with the ability to apply these techniques to address business needs such as fraud analysis and anomaly detection
Ability to work with imperfect information and uncertainty while handling both unstructured and structured data
Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, data science, or internal audit with a data analysis focus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning for fraud and anomaly detection
Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and risk-based auditing frameworks
Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industries
Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CPA, or data analytics credentials
