This position pays 110K-115K+Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule.
Job Description:
Ā Identify and evaluate operational and financial risks, collecting, reviewing, and analyzing audit evidence.
Ā Assess the design and effectiveness of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, aiding Executive Management in complying with regulatory standards.
Ā Clearly communicate the potential business impact of process and control weaknesses, evaluating residual risks after implementing corrective actions.
Ā Conduct interviews, scrutinize documents, formulate audit observations, and compose executive summary memos.
Ā Develop and perform analytical procedures, assessing results.
Ā Evaluate company processes, providing recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, thereby adding value to the organization.
Ā Maintain comprehensive audit work papers, crucial official documents reviewed by external auditors and potentially used in legal actions.
What You'll Need:
Ā Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance.
Ā A CPA or CIA, CPA preferred.
Ā 3-4 years of auditing experience, public accounting preferred.
Ā Knowledge of PCAOB auditing standards and SOX regulations.
Ā Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ā Willingness to travel up to 10% or less and flexibility to work outside normal hours to meet project deadlines.
