Job Description

The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for the conceptualization and design of creative solutions for complex graphic design projects from development through execution.

Responsibilities

Provide concept development for complex graphic design projects for internal and external communications, managing projects from initial creative kickoff through production

Produce technically accurate and complete electronic files for corporate marketing collateral, including brochures, sell sheets, displays and interactive presentations and a variety of ad hoc requests

Ensure design concepts are consistent, on target and properly reflect Prime's brand

Track all projects for reporting and forecasting purposes; organize electronic files systematically ensuring consistency and ease of use

Work efficiently and prioritize demands to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple projects

Ensure client satisfaction by managing expectations and providing timely, quality work; educate associates on cost-effective measures and processes; anticipate client critiques and provide rationale as well as alternative approaches

Assess project scope and present multiple design concepts; verbally express creative intentions and clearly communicate visual ideas to clients and team members

Collaborate with and provide work direction and cross-training to graphic designers as needed during project lifecycle

Assess design tools and research new products and technology

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

5 years of work experience in Graphic Design

Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

Highly skilled in design and illustration, including thorough knowledge of typography, form and color theory; proportion and balance; photographic and computer imaging techniques and electronic layout skills

Willingness to stay current on new design programs and technology

Knowledge of the pre-press and printing process

Exceptional writing and presentation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an in-house creative teams or agency environment

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

Reports to Principal or Manager in the Creative department

Potential pay for this position ranges from $74,500.00 - $111,700.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
