As a Senior Global Benefits and Compensation Manager, you will report to the VP of People and be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs and benefits plans that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Key Responsibilities Compensation Programs and Benefits Plans: Oversee and fulfill all aspects of compensation programs and benefits plans for employees, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness. Strategic Development: Develop compensation and benefits strategies that drive business growth, attract and retain talent, and optimize workforce productivity. Global Program Execution: Partner with HR Business Partners and Management to design and execute global compensation, equity, and benefits programs. Health and Welfare Benefits: Administer health and welfare benefits strategy, manage program implementation, and control costs. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and PPACA, and manage compliance reporting. Data Integrity: Maintain data integrity of compensation and benefits information in HRIS and other systems. Leaves of Absence and Unemployment Claims: Administer leaves of absence and respond to unemployment claims. Immigration Matters: Partner with recruiting and outside counsel to manage immigration matters. Compensation Review Cycle: Support the bi-annual compensation review cycle and manage merit letter preparation. Benchmarking and Market Analysis: Benchmark company programs and monitor external trends to ensure market competitiveness. Essential Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in a global or international setting. Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of compensation, international markets, and best practices. Legislative Knowledge: Familiarity with legislation governing benefit plans, such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and PPACA. Leadership Experience: Strong leadership experience with strategic initiative development and execution. HRIS Systems: Experience with HRIS systems like Rippling, and familiarity with Fidelity and Sequoia. International HR Experience: International human resource experience, preferably in the US, UK, and Canada. Preferred Qualifications Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and present complex data in a clear and concise manner. Organizational Skills: Highly organized and autonomous work style, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial and self-motivated attitude, with a passion for innovation and growth.
