Description Job Title: Senior SAP AI Developer Location: Remote - US EST / CST / PST timezones. Job Summary: Experience Level - 5 - 7 yrs of relevant experience. We are seeking an experienced SAP AI Developer to design and deliver intelligent, enterprise-grade AI solutions leveraging the SAP AI ecosystem. This role focuses on building and deploying AI and GenAI capabilities on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, and SAP Joule, integrated with enterprise SAP applications such as S/4HANA, ERP, and business process platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong Python-based AI development skills with hands-on experience in SAP AI frameworks like SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, Joule Studio, RAG architectures, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)-enabled integrations, serving business scenarios such as finance, procurement, and enterprise automation. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop AI-powered applications using SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, and SAP Joule on SAP BTP. Build and integrate Generative AI solutions using LLMs with enterprise context grounded through SAP data sources. Implement RAG-based architectures and MCP-enabled services to connect AI models with SAP systems, APIs, and business data. Develop Python-based backend services for model orchestration, inference, and integration with SAP applications. Deploy, manage, and monitor AI models following SAP AI lifecycle governance and responsible AI practices. Integrate AI solutions with SAP enterprise processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report. Work with SAP BTP services such as AI Core, Integration Suite, Datasphere, and HANA Cloud for AI enablement. Collaborate with SAP functional, data, and business stakeholders to identify and implement AI use cases. Implement CI/CD and MLOps practices ensuring scalable and compliant AI deployments. Support AI solution design, feasibility analysis, and innovation initiatives for enterprise transformation Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution development with strong expertise in SAP BTP and SAP AI services: SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, SAP Joule Good exposure on Python Strong knowledge of Generative AI implementation in enterprise contexts. Experience designing RAG architectures and implementing AI workflows using MCP or similar orchestration patterns. Familiarity with ML model lifecycle management including training, deployment, and monitoring. Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems via APIs and SAP services. Understanding of SAP data models and business process integration concepts. Experience with Git and collaborative development environments. Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI governance, and ethical AI deployment practices. Strong problem-solving abilities and innovation mindset. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in distributed global teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with SAP S/4HANA data models or SAP applications (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement). Familiarity with SAP CAP / RAP or SAP extensibility patterns on BTP. Exposure to SAP Integration Suite or enterprise integration architecture. Experience building agent-based AI applications using SAP Joule. Knowledge of enterprise process automation using AI for business transformation Soft Skills: Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.
