We believe in providing the best experience possible for all Lazerites by fostering a strong community through regular events, company vacations, competitive compensation, unlimited PTO, and more!Join Lazer and help us solve problems and build the next generation of products.Who You Are:6+ years of experience in both backend and frontend software developmentMastery of JavaScript and TypeScript with React, Node, Next.js; experience with Rust or Go is a strong plusStrong eye for design and user experience is a plusExpert-level web3 dApp development across EVM and/or Solana ecosystems with deep blockchain fundamentals knowledgeProficiency with ecosystem-specific libraries: Web3.js/Ethers for EVM chains and/or Anchor framework/@solana/web3.js for SolanaHands-on experience with development tools for EVM and/or Solana ecosystems - Hardhat, Foundry, OpenZeppelin for EVM; Anchor, Metaplex for SolanaProven consulting/contracting experience with strong client management and communication skillsDeep expertise with major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) for deploying and scaling dAppsExperience architecting solutions that bridge web2 and web3 systems across different blockchain architecturesUnderstanding of key differences between EVM and Solana: gas vs. rent models, transaction finality, and architectural implicationsSelf-sufficient professional who thrives with autonomy while managing client expectations and project timelinesExcellent communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhat You'll Do:Embed with client teams to advise and consult founders on building dApps, protocol-level solutions, dev tooling, etc. - we work across a true variety of web3 native projects across the stackArchitect and develop sophisticated dApps across EVM and/or Solana ecosystems, leveraging each platform's strengthsIntegrate dApps with existing smart contracts and programs, working within established blockchain ecosystemsUplevel client engineering teams through mentorship, improved architecture, and enhanced engineering processesNavigate multi-chain development complexities including asset bridging, wallet integrations, and varying transaction confirmation patternsLead technical strategy discussions with clients, managing project timelines and expectations for complex web3 solutionsHelp grow our team's technical chops by experimenting with cutting-edge web3 tools, shipping Farcaster mini apps, and contributing back to the open source ecosystemNice to Have:The following would be bonus experience to have, though highlight any additional experience or skills you may have.
