Senior Front-End Web Developer

Aequilibrium is seeking a Senior Front-End Web Developer with expertise in building financial services web applications on digital banking platforms like Central1 Forge, Backbase, Plumery, Temenos, or VeriPark. You are passionate about code and a maestro regarding pixel-perfect UI development. You work with enterprise-level businesses, with tens of thousands+ users visiting the sites, SPAs, and code that you create on a daily basis. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with our teams, partners, and clients. What You Will Do Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive web applications leveraging front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JS frameworks, and integration with 3rd party applications Work on complex enterprise solutions/applications in the front end using React 19 + Typescript Build on top of applications developed with technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Web MVC, and using application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic or JBoss. Work with SOAP and RESTful web services using tools such as XML, JSON and RAML Identify and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions Perform technical analysis, design, coding, and implementation of large-scale object-oriented application Collaborate with the team to assist in the development of logical specifications Integrate modern solutions with legacy systems Work in an Agile software development environment using methodologies such as Scrum Prepare reports and other documentation as required Skills and Qualifications 6+ years of experience as a Front End Web Developer in a tech professional services / digital agency Experience with Central1 Forge, Temenos, VeriPark, Plumery, or Backbase digital banking platforms is a big plus Consultative, resourceful, proactive, comfortable interacting with clients to solve their business challenges Proficiency in React 19 and modern TypeScript Experience with React Router v7 (SSR) for server-side rendering and routing Strong knowledge of Node.js 20 + Express 5 in a full-stack environment Familiarity with Vite 6 as a build tool and modern frontend tooling ecosystem Experience with Firebase Authentication (or other authentication providers) Strong grasp of UI/UX implementation using Radix UI and data visualization with Victory Charts Experience with Google Maps API integration Solid understanding of i18next for internationalization/localization Strong knowledge of form validation & schema validation (e.g., Zod ) Hands-on experience with end-to-end testing using Playwright Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices Git and Gitflow Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable code Teamwork and experience performing peer code review Soft Skills Ability to learn fast and ready to make a big impact Understand what it means to be a consultant Teamwork, reliability and positive attitude Great interpersonal skills (aka clients love you!)
