What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer the company's insurance programs, including marine, casualty, property, and workers' compensation
- Coordinate insurance renewals by reviewing policies, assessing coverage needs, and negotiating terms
- Manage claims administration, tracking from notification to settlement, and collaborating with underwriters and brokers
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes related to insurance, aligning with strategic goals
- Analyze insurance performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA or CPA preferred
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial planning and analysis
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing corporate insurance programs
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with ERP systems like Oracle
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels
