Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain provides accurate reporting and analysis to key stakeholders. This position collaborates cross-functionally with the Transportation and Supply Planning teams from Supply Chain while supporting the Market Unit (MU) and Corporate FP&A analysts from Finance indirectly. The Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain develops accurate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) estimates, forecasts/budgets for the Transportation team's P&L, and networks optimization projects in conjunction with the Logistics team.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Ā Calculate COGS by working cross-functionally to assemble input costs by component including commodities, manufacturing conversion rates, and transportation expenses
Ā Perform cause of change analysis versus prior year to provide insights into COGS changes impacting the MU's P&L's
Ā Maintain accurate product sourcing and provide updates as new requests emerge
Ā Develop routine forecasts and an annual budget for the Transportation team's P&L
Ā Analyze month end Transportation variances and build an executive summary of the results
Ā Support the Logistics team on strategic projects, i.e., sourcing decisions and make versus buy analysis
Ā Other projects or duties as assigned
