One Data Streaming Platform.About the Role:Join Confluent's globally recognized Executive Advisory team and help shape the future of real-time data and organizational transformation for some of the world's leading enterprises. As an Executive Advisor, you will work with C-level executives and technical leaders in major organizations—guiding them to adopt, scale, and maximize value from data streaming platforms.What You Will Do:Lead strategic advisory engagements with major enterprise customers (e.g. global banks, retailers, manufacturers, telecoms, healthcare, technology firms), supporting digital transformation through real-time data streaming.Partner directly with executive stakeholders to develop strategic visions, organizational structures, and technology roadmaps for enterprise adoption of event streaming.Design and deliver tailored customer workshops, playbacks, and executive reviews—benchmarking capabilities, facilitating transformation, and documenting pathways to measurable business outcomes.Author, adapt, and share practical frameworks and industry best practices on data streaming—covering ways of working, governance models, platform adoption, and data product lifecycle.Drive the development of Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for event streaming, enabling organizations to scale from pilot projects to platform-wide adoption, aligning both top-down executive buy-in and grassroots enablement.Produce and present thought leadership content: blueprints, assessment tools, strategic guides, and public presentations to shape the market’s understanding of Data Streaming Organizations.Act as a trusted sponsor and advisor to align Confluent resources for customer success, and facilitate their journey to become real-time, data-driven enterprises.Mentor internal talent and support team-wide capability buildingWhat You Will Bring:Demonstrated experience in an executive advisory, enterprise architecture, technology consulting, or senior solutions role, ideally with exposure to large-scale, real-time or data-centric transformations.Proven ability to engage, influence, and advise C-level and technical stakeholders at major organizations.Experience designing operating models, ways of working, and governance for technology platforms such as data streaming, cloud, analytics, or enterprise integration.Thought leadership—experience producing technical frameworks, playbooks, or industry-leading content; strong presentation and facilitation skills.Strategic mindset with hands-on technical acumen; able to synthesize best practices and deliver practical solutions in complex, ambiguous environments.Passion for organizational change, platform adoption, and creating market impact through both strategic and operational initiatives.What Gives You an Edge: Knowledge of Apache Kafka and/or other streaming technologiesProficiency in other languagesExperience designing strategic big data, stream processing, and/or other distributed systems for Fortune 1000 companiesExperience working with global teamsReady to build what's next?
