What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
- Lead in design sessions and code reviews with peers
- Define, create, and support reusable application components/patterns
- Mentor other engineers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Advanced programming experience within Python, Containerization, GIT, Databricks, Hive, Kafka, and PowerBI
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Thousand Eyes, Influx, Grafana
- Proven understanding of microservices oriented architecture and REST APIs
- Advanced understanding of DevOps concepts including Azure DevOps framework
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 4+ years of professional experience in data software development
- 3+ years of experience with architecture and design
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- 2+ years of experience in Big-data tools like spark, databricks
