Greet patients, collect co-pays, and schedule follow-up appointments and referrals
Support departmental clerical duties and ensure quality service to patients
Provide timely and courteous assistance to patients requesting care
Assist with maintaining patient confidentiality and good patient relations
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 6 months related experience
Accurate computer and keyboarding skills
Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles
Proficiency in operating telephone systems, PCs, printers, photo copiers, and fax machines
Ability to work in a fast-paced and structured environment
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Some medical background preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology desirable
Sensitivity in human relations and customer service skills
Comfort in asking patients for co-pays and race collection
