Position Summary: The Senior Director, Sales, US - West is an individual contributor role dedicated to achieving maximum sales potential and profitability objectives for Vecima. This will be accomplished by working alongside a team of experienced pre-sales technical professionals and architects. The individual will focus on all Vecima products including fiber to the home, HFC DAA, IPTV - CDN, Origin, Cache, Transcoding, and Commercial Video. The Senior Director of Sales will be responsible for successfully leading solution architects, design engineers, service personnel, and product management through the customer’s decision cycle to secure purchase orders & achieve an assigned annual revenue quota. Duties include (but are not limited to): Uncover, develop, and manage strategic accounts and relationships Utilization of strategic selling methodology with exceptional talent closing deals Negotiate at senior levels with maturity and credibility Attain near term revenue and manage forward-looking sales forecast Management of a sales pipeline and material projections utilizing Salesforce Ensure customers receive prompt responses and feedback Build Vecima brand recognition and proudly represent Vecima to the marketplace Provide Vecima visibility into market trends, customer requirements, and ongoing activity Facilitate open, clear, concise communication with customers and Vecima team members Position requirements: Experience selling into Tier 2 and 3 cable and broadband operators Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field is preferred Demonstrates knowledge and confidence navigating complex sales cycles Independent and highly motivated with a proven track record of achieving sales targets Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Exceptional talent negotiating and closing deals Strong understanding of distributed access architectures with emphasis on fiber to the home technologies and hybrid fiber coax networks Proven track record targeting and capturing new business Dynamic presentation capabilities and strength capturing or conveying technical information Strategic thinker with good analytical and problem-solving abilities Results focused and accountable Self-starter capable of operating effectively from remote locations Able and willing to travel up to 40% and able to accommodate clients primarily in the eastern half of the US.
