The Senior Digital Content Creator produces accurate, high-quality medical content aligned with the brand voice of Cleveland Clinic, translating complex clinical and scientific information into clear, engaging language for patients and the public. In this role, you will research health topics, collaborate with clinical experts, incorporate SEO and medical reviewer feedback, and meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities, while partnering with Editorial Leadership on sponsored content workflows and supporting editorial planning, audits, and meeting coordination across teams. The ideal candidate is a high-performing digital content creator with an interest in helping grow revenue from monetized content on Health Essentials and the Health Library, supporting our mission to be the most trusted source of digital health information.

A caregiver in this role works remotely in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. (flexible start/end times)

Candidates must be willing to travel to Northeast Ohio four times per year.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:
• Write accurate, high-quality medical content that's consistent with Cleveland Clinic's brand voice.
• Research health topics and/or interview clinical sources.
• Translate complex medical and scientific information into accessible and comprehensive language for patients and the general public.
• Consistently meet writing deadlines.
• Incorporate medical edits from SEO experts and medical reviewers into finished copy.
• Manage multiple competing priorities with an ability to prioritize, solve problems and set expectations.
• Seek out and engage regularly with peers, creating an environment of exchange and learning. Openly share successes and failures to promote the group's collective learning.
• Flex between the Editorial Department's teams, as needed, creating a variety of content types.
• Under the direction of a Director, manage additional strategic projects, such as assisting with editorial strategy, running meetings, calendaring and audits.

Minimum requirements for the ideal future caregiver include:
• Six years of experience writing, editing, researching and preparing material for publication
• OR High School/GED and 10 years of experience
• OR Associate's degree and seven years of experience.
• Ability to discern when issues should be escalated to editorial leadership for resolution
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, solve problems and set expectations
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Preferred requirements for the ideal future caregiver include:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, English, healthcare or closely related field
• Editorial strategy background

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to do computer work for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:
• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum Annual Salary: $76,540.00

Maximum Annual Salary: $116,747.50

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
