Junior Building Performance Analyst

They are seeking a Junior Building Performance Analyst to shadow senior staff, gain certifications, and perform energy code compliance testing at various job sites around Colorado.ResponsibilitiesAssist with diagnostic testing (blower door, duct leakage, IR scans, TAB, etc.)Conduct evaluations on building systems across residential and light commercial sitesNavigate and interpret various energy codes (e.g., 2022 Denver Energy Code, 2024 Boulder Energy Code, IECC, IEBC)Review architectural drawings and construction plansPerform basic data analysis and clearly document field observationsEnter and manage data using energy modeling and documentation softwareCommunicate with clients and team members to ensure timely, accurate service deliveryCoordinate closely with colleagues to streamline project timelinesPerform physical tasks like lifting equipment (20–50 lbs+) and accessing attics, crawlspaces, and other tight spacesSkillsMust be located in Denver, Colorado or around Southern Metro AreaNo prior experience required, just be curious, reliable, and ready to learnDetail oriented and eager to learnStrong communication and client-facing skillsComfortable on construction sitesValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to perform physical tasks like lifting equipment (20–50 lbs+) and accessing attics, crawlspaces, and other tight spacesConstruction, HVAC, or engineering experience is a bonusAbility to speak Spanish well is a bonus, but not requiredBenefitsPaid time offFlexible schedulePaid certification and professional developmentSupportive, growth focused team cultureCompany OverviewE3 Power is an independent small business helping builders, developers, project managers, contractors, and homeowners across Colorado meet energy code requirements with proven experience and technical expertise.
