The ideal candidate will have a solid background in utilizing automated testing tools, such as SSIS and QuerySurge, to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of data migration projects. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate data migration processes. • Perform end-to-end testing of data movements from on-premise systems to cloud platforms, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the migration. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and ensure testing objectives are met. • Identify and report defects, anomalies, and issues in a timely manner, working with the development team to resolve them effectively. • Utilize automated testing tools such as SSIS, QuerySurge, or similar tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. • Develop and maintain testing frameworks, scripts, and automation suites to support data migration testing efforts. • Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for data testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data testing practices. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 7-9 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on data testing and migration projects. • Strong proficiency in testing data movements, transformations, and migrations across different platforms and environments. • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as SSIS, QuerySurge, Informatica, or similar tools. • Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts, with the ability to write complex queries for data validation and verification. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
