About the Role As a Senior Data Analyst at Home Depot, you'll be working closely with a talented team of data scientists and software engineers to develop and implement state-of-the-art data science and analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, UX designers, and end-users to determine requirements and develop high-quality solutions that meet business needs. Demonstrate a can-do, innovative mindset, consistently seeking opportunities for skill development and enthusiastically tackling new challenges to drive business and data science capabilities forward. Design and implement data science and analytics solutions using programming languages such as Python and R. Apply strong knowledge of statistics and mathematics, including hypothesis testing, probability, and regression, to inform business decisions with data-driven insights. Deploy machine learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised) using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Create data visualizations to effectively communicate data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Utilize strong SQL skills for data processing, including writing stored procedures, functions, and scripts. Apply knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or similar technology, including BigQuery, Vertex AI, and BigQuery Partner. Leverage expertise in Tableau or similar technology to create interactive dashboards and advanced data visualizations. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, R, and Python. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive business decisions. Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau. Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, including Google Cloud Platform. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in a technical leadership role, with a proven track record of driving innovation and growth. Experience with Google Cloud Platform data science and analytics technologies, including BigQuery, Vertex AI, and BigQuery Partner. Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application in a business context.
