Our Maintenance Assistant /Caretakers Perform general housekeeping and maintenance, including some light repair, working in common areas (pools, common areas) helping with apartment cleanings, and other general upkeep. Prepare and organizes materials and equipment as needed. Perform daily rounds and check of various systems as assigned, including related record keeping. Able to work a few on-call hours as needed (incentive pay for on-call). Perform other duties as assigned What You Need To Succeed Must be at least eighteen years of age with the ability to read, write and speak English Some training in vocational school or trade apprenticeship program A minimum of 1 years building maintenance work experience. Completion of a background check, drug screen. Other pre-employment screenings may include physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines. Physical Requirements Include Ability to work in different physical positions to complete tasks, while providing a variety of physically demanding maintenance-related tasks inside and outside the building Must have good manual dexterity and the ability to work with tools and equipment May need to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
