Job Summary As a Senior Data Analyst at Home Depot, you will work closely with a team of skilled investigators and programming engineers to design and implement state-of-the-art data science and analytics applications that drive business growth and improvement. You will collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to determine requirements and quickly transform specifications into high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and programming, with experience working with large datasets and advanced analytics tools. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with partners, engineers, UX architects, and end-users to determine requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs Design and implement data science and analytics solutions using languages like Python, R, and SQL Apply strong knowledge of statistics and mathematics, including hypothesis testing, probability, and regression, to inform business decisions Develop and deploy AI algorithms using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other tools Create data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences Use strong SQL skills to manage data, including writing stored procedures, functions, and scripts Apply knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Vertex AI, and BigQuery Assistant Develop interactive dashboards and advanced data visualizations using Tableau or similar technology Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in a field related to data analysis, computer science, or statistics At least 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field Strong programming skills in languages like Python, R, and SQL Experience working with large datasets and advanced analytics tools, including Google Cloud Platform Strong knowledge of statistics and mathematics, including hypothesis testing, probability, and regression Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates who have: Experience working in a technical leadership role Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Vertex AI, and BigQuery Assistant Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Home Depot, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
