As a Senior Data Analysis and Visualization Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. You will work closely with senior leadership to define metrics, lead the development of data pipelines and dashboards, and report progress towards our goals. Key Responsibilities Data Source Identification : Utilize your knowledge of functional business areas, data categories, and business information requirements to identify data sources and ensure data quality. Business Issue Analysis : Examine business issues within your discipline, question assumptions, and identify root causes. Develop and recommend approaches to resolve business issues and set meaningful expectations based on established progress guidelines and key metrics. Business Case Evaluation : Assess proposed business cases for projects and initiatives, translate business requirements into systems, and align the team with the business strategy while executing expectations. Data Visualization and Communication : Identify and recommend the most suitable visualization tools based on context, define application design based on user requirements, and develop compelling stories using appropriate data visualization techniques. Strategic Leadership : Provide overall direction by analyzing business goals and customer needs, developing and implementing business processes, plans, and practices, and determining and supporting resource requirements. Collaboration and Partnership : Develop and utilize internal and external partnerships, lead key community collaboration and inclusion initiatives, and support stakeholders while adhering to the company's principles of integrity and ethics. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Technical Skills : Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data tools (e.g., Hive), as well as experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker) and scheduling/workflow tools (e.g., Airflow). Data Analysis and Communication : Ability to convey complex data insights to executives clearly and connect the dots between data and its impact on the business. Leadership Experience : Experience leading a team of analysts and developing new metrics to track business impact. Data Visualization : Experience building dashboards and reports that aggregate data from multiple sources.
