Key Responsibilities Design and develop compelling and engaging content for Netflix's streaming service, ensuring a high-quality user experience for millions of members worldwide. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute content strategies that align with Netflix's brand and business objectives. Utilize a deep understanding of user behavior and content trends to create innovative and impactful content experiences for users. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in content design, user experience, and visual design to continuously improve the user experience on Netflix. Work closely with the Merchandising XD team to develop and maintain a consistent content strategy across all platforms and devices. Develop and maintain content guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency and coherence across all content on Netflix. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure that content designs are implemented accurately and effectively. Conduct user research and analysis to gather insights and inform content decisions, ensuring that user needs are met and exceeded. Mentor and guide junior content designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative and creative team environment. Act as a brand ambassador for Netflix, representing the company's mission and values in all aspects of content design and development. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to have: A strong background in visual design, content strategy, and user experience. A deep understanding of how to use content to engage and delight users. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A passion for staying up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in content design, user experience, and visual design. Experience in developing and maintaining content guidelines and style guides. A strong portfolio that showcases your ability to design and develop compelling and engaging content experiences. Preferred Qualifications While not required, having the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience working in the streaming or entertainment industry. Knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and content delivery networks (CDNs). A background in user research and analysis.
