Overview Methods+Mastery has an immediate opening for a talented Senior Content Creative Consultant to work on Fortune 500 tech brands. This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid set-up with work from home and work from office flexibility. Positions are available in Texas or candidates willing to relocate to Texas. We are a close-knit team that takes huge pride in the work we produce, and our new Senior Content Creative Consultant will be key in taking that work to the next level. Methods+Mastery is an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment that values talented, creative people who like to work with others to create cutting-edge programs for our clients. We work on projects ranging from regional to global in scope for some resume-bolstering brands. You'll be responsible for concepting, creating, and executing motion creative - video and animations destined for multiple surfaces, including web, mobile, social, presentations, interactive, and experiential. You'll understand the marketing and social landscape and how cultural trends drive content and campaign effectiveness. An eye for detail in both concept and design is essential. You must also be able to conceptualize and present your ideas, building and evolving your concepts based on internal and client feedback. You'll be able to understand and articulate why creative choices are made and also how they will be brought to fruition across all stages of the project. You'll be the link between clients, in-house, third-party, and production teams, ensuring the work meets high creative standards. Your ability to build and develop creative concepts is key, as is your understanding and familiarity with all things moving image - from scripts to animation, VFX techniques to the latest editing trends. The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Responsibilities Creative strategy and concepting, centered in motion Overseeing and being hands-on with production - best-in-class creative animations, from long-form animations (2-3 min) to snappy gifs and AR filters, for some of the biggest brands' social media accounts, blogs, websites, and more Overseeing and being hands-on with editing to achieve a polished final product Work collaboratively with other creatives, strategists, analysts, and client experience leaders to concept and produce motion design solutions for clients in line with developed insights and strategies Mentor more junior team members to coach and develop their skills Present and articulate rationale for concepts, animation direction, and in-progress creative to clients An active interest in animation and moving image, staying on top of trends and developments within the industry and sharing that back to clients and the team. Participate in and support the facilitation of creative brainstorm sessions to conceptualize creative approaches against client briefs Contribute to team culture and DE&I initiatives, mentor junior creatives Qualifications Must-haves: A stellar portfolio that demonstrates your 3-6 years of experience related to creative concepting and creation related to Motion-preferably for a social media, content, creative, digital, or integrated marketing agency or brand team Ability to translate creative brief to motion-centric creative concepts, ranging from broad creative ideation to storyboarding your ideas Experience collaborating with and directing the work of creative production teams in motion-focused work Mastery of Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator is essential. Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Google Slides skills, and ability to build and edit storyboards, a huge plus Ability to take feedback from clients, and members of M+M outside the creative team, and ideate on solutions Experience with video editing, including video cutting, color grading, audio editing, and mixing. Additional qualifications: Insatiable appetite to learn, grow, work hard, have fun, be entrepreneurial, curious, and inventive. Bachelor's Degree in a creative, marketing, or communications-related field, or equivalent work experience Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Experience and working knowledge of creative types and formats across all social media platforms and emerging technologies used to engage consumers Ability to convey strategic direction/requirements into creative concepts and creative products A detailed understanding of best social media and web practices, i.e. design optimization, usability & functionality Basic understanding of UI design principles and best practices. Demonstrating Figma expertise is a huge bonus, as demonstrated in your portfolio. Solid understanding of web technologies including browsers, platforms, and devices A curiosity and interest in developing your generative AI skills to make your work more efficient, effective, and creative. Experience applying generative AI in your work is a bonus
