Senior Consultant – Microsoft D365 Business Central Location: Remote Department: ERP Consulting / Technology Services Reports To: Director of ERP Consulting / Practice Lead Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Senior Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) to lead the implementation, customization, and support of ERP solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and delivering successful Business Central implementations that drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate has strong functional knowledge of core financials, supply chain, and project accounting modules within D365 BC, and experience managing end-to-end ERP projects. Key Responsibilities: ERP Implementation & Consulting • Lead full-cycle D365 Business Central implementations, including discovery, analysis, configuration, data migration, testing, training, and go-live support. • Work closely with clients to understand business needs, define system requirements, and design scalable solutions. • Configure Business Central modules including Finance, AR/AP, GL, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Sales, Purchasing, and Project Management. • Provide functional and technical guidance to junior consultants and end users. • Develop and execute test plans, training materials, and end-user documentation. Client Engagement & Project Management • Act as primary point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle. • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. • Conduct user workshops, status meetings, and presentations for both business and technical audiences. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, sales, and support. Post-Go-Live Support & Optimization • Provide post-implementation support and ongoing system optimization. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements. • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by delivering proactive service and expert guidance. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central (formerly NAV). • Strong understanding of ERP business processes in finance, operations, and/or manufacturing. • Proven experience leading full ERP implementations or major upgrades. • Familiarity with extensions, AL language, Power BI, and integrations with Power Platform is a plus. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Microsoft certifications in D365 Business Central or related technologies preferred.
