Department : Delivery Location : Home based, UK (with occasional travel to our London office) Reports to : Service Delivery Manager Hours : 37.5 per week Salary : Depending on experience Role Overview We're looking for an experienced and knowledgeable AI Mentor to play a pivotal role in supporting our learners through the L5 AI Leader Apprenticeship. This role is crucial in empowering professionals to identify, implement and champion AI technologies, driving innovation and productivity across their organisations. As an AI Mentor, you will guide and support professionals through their apprenticeship journey, helping them to become confident and capable AI Leaders. You will be instrumental in supporting learners to drive technological innovation and improve efficiency and productivity within their businesses. Your background in leading digital or operational change, driving productivity improvements and working with executive boards will be vital in this role. Key responsibilities: Support and guide a caseload of apprentices through their programme. Equipping them with the ability to apply the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) of the Apprenticeship Standard. Support learners to develop and implement high quality portfolio projects, having meaningful impact in their businesses Ensuring learners remain on track and engaged throughout their programme with regular 1:1 and group mentoring sessions Prepare learners for their End Point Assessment, ensuring they can achieve the best possible outcome Work alongside key stakeholders, both internally and externally to support learners progress throughout the programme Support with Line Manager input, providing regular feedback and progress updates Support client engagement activity and supporting the sales process Candidate Specification: Essential Extensive departmental management experience Experience leading on and delivering complex digital change/transformation projects from start to finish Knowledge and awareness of GenAI such that they’re able to: Understand and discuss fundamental concepts at a high level and explain them to others Understand and discuss the potential of GenAI in business Understand and discuss some of the key risks associated with GenAI for organisations Experience coaching junior/mid-level managers and supporting their career development Experience working with the executive board and leadership teams Experience of prioritising workload, working to strict deadlines and following governing procedures and controls The ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting development of other colleagues Conscientious with excellent interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure Desirable Experience in leading business change initiatives, improving productivity through technology, or embedding digital tools into team workflows Background in education or an AI - related field Interview process: Competency based interview + role play (brief to prepare will be shared in the interview invite) - 1 hour Ways of Working/Meet the Team - 45 minutes Company Benefits: Remote first company providing flexibility to work from home Pension with up to 5% matched contributions Opportunity to opt into our salary sacrifice scheme 25 days holiday + Flexi bank holidays + 1 day off on your birthday A day for volunteering Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Leave Health & Wellbeing allowance of up to £30 per month Annual Summer and Xmas events Company socials including everything from Cambridge College formals, pub nights to team building events CPD Allowance alongside quarterly reflections to ring fence time for development and growth Private medical insurance and cash plan Holiday buy back scheme (up to 10 days p/a) EAP with 24 hour confidential support line Background to our Organisation We are an education technology company that enables corporate and government organisations to achieve their business goals by educating their workforce with critical digital transformation skills to succeed in the AI era.
