Senior Commercial Property Claims Specialist | Remote
Our client, a leading Mutual Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Senior Commercial Property Claims Specialist that would have the ability to work remotely. This person will be responsible for handling mid to complex Commercial Property losses from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess an active Adjusters License and have the ability to work remotely.
Inside position which includes verifying/analyzing coverage, investigation, evaluation, and resolution of first party property losses throughout the United States.
Manage 60 - 80 complex Commercial Property claims with an average of 2 new claims per week.
Ability to read and interpret commercial property policies.
Direct and manage external vendors/counsel.
Apply statutes, common law, and other applicable legal and regulatory compliance for the effective and equitable resolution of assigned Commercial Property losses.
Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and ?adherence to department Best Practices.?
Requirements:
7+ years of Commercial Property claims handling experience.
Must be well-versed in drafting coverage position letters.
Must hold an active Adjusters License.
Must have experience handling business income loss and litigated files
Bachelors Degree preferred but not required.
Salary/Benefits:
$85,000 to $100,000 annual base salary plus bonus up to 20%
