Senior Cloud Engineer – Ransomware Protection (Azure)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Long Term
Key Responsibilities
• Implement and configure backup and restore solutions for Azure services (VMs, Blob Storage, App Services).
• Support logical air-gapped backup designs defined by the platform architecture.
• Execute backup, restore, and recovery testing, including ransomware recovery scenarios.
• Assist with onboarding enterprise applications into the Azure backup landing zone.
• Maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and documentation.
• Support day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of the platform.
Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, Storage, App Services).
• Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Solid understanding of cloud security and data protection best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a CCE or platform team.
