Responsibilities:
Develop character art for style guides and portfolios across multiple properties and divisions
Generate ideas for franchise expansion and contribute to new product ideas
Attend key shows and exhibitions to stay current with marketplace trends and product development techniques
Maintain high character art standards and develop a strong character art community across Global Product Creation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring Disney characters and stories to life in innovative and engaging ways
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, character art illustration, or merchandise design
2+ years of related work experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your artistic skills and style
Extensive knowledge of character art, cartooning, and cartoon animation principles
Strong traditional and digital drawing skills, as well as concepting and creative computer skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Creative Suite, Keynote)
Pro-active and can-do attitude, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
