Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional care to dedicated clients in their homes, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Assist with executing comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans, tailoring your support to each client's unique requirements. Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal care, mobility assistance, and meal preparation. Provide personal companionship and ongoing social and emotional support, fostering meaningful relationships with our clients. Ensure order, safety, and client enjoyment at all times, creating a warm and welcoming environment in our clients' homes. Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed, demonstrating reliability and flexibility. Handle administrative functions such as documentation and reporting changes in clients' conditions, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with our team. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Senior Care Specialist with TheKey, you'll need: Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia care, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges associated with these conditions. Valid Basic Life Support Training (CPR), ensuring you're equipped to respond in emergency situations. TB screening/PPD chest X-ray, meeting our health and safety standards. A valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation, enabling you to travel to client appointments and provide transportation as needed. Empathy, compassion, and kindness, forming the foundation of our care approach and ensuring our clients receive the support and understanding they deserve. Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in various situations, handling challenging circumstances with professionalism and poise. Reliability, dependability, and punctuality, essential for building trust with our clients and delivering high-quality care. Basic computer skills and technical savviness, enabling you to navigate our systems and communicate effectively with our team. Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S., meeting our employment requirements. Ability to pass a background check and provide references, demonstrating your commitment to professionalism and integrity. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Previous experience in senior care or a related field, providing a deeper understanding of the industry and our clients' needs. Additional certifications or training in senior care, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
