Senior Campus Recruiter/Campus Recruiter

Remote Full-time
Overview:

Cvent is a leading meetings, events and hospitality technology provider with more than 4,800+ employees and nearly 22,000 customers worldwide. Founded in 1999, the company delivers a comprehensive event marketing and management platform for event professionals and offers software solutions to hotels, special event venues and destinations to help them grow their group/MICE and corporate travel business.

The DNA of Cvent is our people, and our culture has an emphasis on fostering intrapreneurship -- a system that encourages Cventers to think and act like individual entrepreneurs and empowers them to take action, embrace risk, and make decisions as if they had founded the company themselves. We foster an environment that promotes agility, which means we don’t have the luxury to wait for perfection. At Cvent, we value the diverse perspectives that each individual brings. Whether working with a team of colleagues or with clients, we ensure that we foster a culture that celebrates differences and builds on shared connections.

Do you want to recruit in an environment where hiring top talent is a companywide priority? Interested in attracting candidates to join a company that is consistently recognized as a top workplace and employer by the Washington Post and Washington Business Journal?

Responsibilities include creating a campus recruitment strategy, partnering with colleges and universities, identifying and qualifying candidates, working with recruiting coordinators and hiring managers, and extending offers.

In This Role, You Will:
• Partner with Cvent’s business leaders to determine strategic hiring needs; 90% of your time will be supporting Sales, Client Services, and Technology department recruiting needs.
• Own and establish high-volume search strategy for campus-wide recruiting efforts at universities across the United States
• Build long-standing relationships with career service centers
• Identify and engage in-demand talent and promote Cvent’s culture, roles, and career growth
• Conduct in-depth screens to ensure that managers receive qualified candidates
• Apply thorough knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting to fill positions quickly
• Travel and attend university events, career fairs, and on-campus interview days. Expected travel is up to 70% at its height during the fall semester.
• Create strategy for campus events and outreach to student organizations/clubs
• Assist with coordinating onsite interviews and office visit days

Here's What You Need:
• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, full life cycle university recruiting environment preferred. We will consider candidates with experience in metrics-driven roles, including but not limited to sales.
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Ability to communicate and promote university recruiting efforts, create strategy, and drive the recruitment process
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System or CRM to document, manage, and move candidates through the interview process
• Ability to evaluate resumes based on skillset and fit for various positions
• The ability to prioritize, manage time well, and work closely with the business to quickly address needs and adjust focus as needed
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Passion for Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace
