Freelance Technical Writer

Hey there! We’re looking for highly technical and experienced freelance writers to add depth to our technical writer team. Please note this is NOT a generalist writing position. You must have published samples showcasing your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, SEO-optimized content for both technical and business readers. We're looking for writers with deep technical knowledge in at least one of the following areas: • Data Integration & Pipeline Architecture: ETL/ELT processes, modern data pipelines, and related tools. • Cloud Data Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, and their data services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake). • Data Management & Transformation: Databases, migration, replication, cleaning, profiling, mapping, and enrichment techniques. • Modern Data Stack & Analytics: Data architecture trends, data lakes, data warehouses, operational data stores, and analytics. • Software Development: API-first development, cross-platform frameworks, secure coding practices. • Real-Time and Event-Driven Systems: Real-time computing concepts, streaming protocols, latency optimization, and common use cases like chat, live video, and collaborative tools. Things to note: • If you're hired, we'll provide you with a clear writing process, support documentation for every client, and an awesome editorial team. • We’re a virtual, remote company. There are no official work hours or vacation days. As long as you hit deadlines, you can work wherever/whenever you want. • We're pretty flexible and casual, but we only accept high quality work.
