Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this full-time position is (84,000 - )138,000, plus benefits and bonus opportunities. Salary offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, ensuring fairness and internal equity.

Skills
• Expertise in Biological Resource Assessments, CEQA/NEPA analyses, and wetland delineations.
• Strong project management skills with experience in Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and Coastal Act projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and regulatory agency interactions.
• Ability to provide technical direction to staff and subcontractors.
• Proficient in quality assurance and control (QA/QC) for technical reports, budgets, and schedules.
• Business development acumen for client outreach and proposal writing.

Responsibilities
• Prepare high-quality technical studies and environmental documents.
• Identify optimal permitting pathways for complex projects.
• Conduct fieldwork essential for biological documentation.
• Lead biological permitting projects independently.
• Coordinate project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory agencies.
• Engage in client outreach and participate in securing new business opportunities.

Qualifications
• A minimum of 6 years of progressive and successful environmental consulting experience.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology (or equivalent), or a PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record of supervising employees and building positive relationships.
• Expertise in regulatory permitting and compliance oversight.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, project management, and business development.
