What You’ll Do • Design and develop high-performance exchange and trading systems (order matching, order routing, execution engines, risk management). • Optimize system performance for ultra-low-latency trading environments. • Implement scalable, distributed architectures to handle large volumes of transactions. • Work with quant teams to integrate algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies into the system. • Ensure reliability, fault tolerance, and security of all trading operations. • Collaborate with trading, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure a seamless trading experience. What We’re Looking For • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in trading, exchanges, or market-making environments. • Strong proficiency in C++, Rust, Go, or Python for high-performance applications. • Deep understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, FIX/WebSocket APIs. • Experience optimizing low-latency, high-throughput systems in equities, commodities, FX or crypto. • Familiarity with distributed systems, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or on-premises trading systems). • Bonus: Experience with quantitative trading, HFT strategies, or algorithmic execution.
