Senior Backend Engineer (Remote Asia)
This a FullRemote job, the offer is available from: Asia We're looking for aSenior Back-End / Web3 Software Engineer to join a global team building a next-generation decentralized prediction platform.You' ll design and implement scalable backend systems, integrate with multiple blockchains, and work with modern cloud infrastructure. This role suits someone who loves deep technical challenges, clean architecture, and building high-performance Web3 services. Responsibilities: • Design and build high-availability, high-concurrency, scalable backend systems • Implement clean, optimized, maintainable code in Golang and Python • Build microservices and distributed systems for real-time Web3 applications • Develop services integrating with EVM chains (Ethereum, Polygon, BSC • Integrate with non-EVM ecosystems (Solana, Aptos) • Work with smart contracts and on-chain data processing • Apply distributed architecture patterns (CQRS, microservices, event-driven) • Implement caching & load-balancing (Redis, Memcached) • Build asynchronous processing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) • Deploy and maintain backend systems on AWS (ECS, Lambda, Fargate) • Work with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch • Set up bolthires/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes) • Contribute to security reviews for Web3 and smart contract integrations • Implement DDoS protection, access controls, and key management (AWS KMS) • Write clear API specs and system documentation • Participate in cross-timezone engineering discussions and design reviews Requirements: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field • 5+ years backend or Web3 development experience • Strong proficiency in Golang and Python • Experience building scalable, distributed systems • Familiar with Solidity or Rust, and good understanding of EVM, DeFi, or NFT ecosystems • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure, monitoring, and automation • Skilled in databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, bolthires/CD pipelines • Strong English communication skills • Mandarin fluency is mandatory • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a global team Nice to Have: • Contributions to open-source Web3 projects • Knowledge of ZK-Rollups, Optimistic Rollups, cross-chain bridges • Experience with MEV, smart contract auditing, or on-chain analytics • Familiarity with DeFi, DAO design, or tokenomics • Experience with real-time systems, matching engines, or high-frequency data processing Benefits • Fully remote or hybrid work options • Work on frontier Web3 infrastructure with global experts • Competitive base salary + token incentives + equity options • Strong support for technical development and open-source contributionsThis offer from "WavesReach" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 77% flex score.Apply tot his job
