Senior Applied AI Engineer | Enterprise AI & GenAI Solutions, – Houston, TX - Must be able to come onsite 3-4 Xs a month
We’re seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to lead the design, delivery, and evolution of enterprise-scale AI and GenAI solutions that power automation, decision intelligence, and agent-based workflows. This role blends hands-on technical execution with strategic influence, guiding teams to build reusable AI components, conversational interfaces, AI-assisted analytics, and agent-ready solutions.
What You’ll Do
• Lead initiatives to advance AI/GenAI capabilities across enterprise workflows, including multi-agent and orchestration-ready systems.
• Translate complex business challenges into automation-ready AI solutions.
• Build and scale AI/GenAI components that integrate with the platform, MLOps, and product teams.
• Operationalize AI through monitoring, versioning, validation, and lifecycle management while ensuring responsible AI and governance compliance.
• Coach and mentor engineers and data scientists to deliver high-quality, agent-ready AI solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI-led code assistance, analytics, conversational interfaces, and workflow automation.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field.
• 5+ years designing and delivering AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel) and AI orchestration pipelines.
• Strong background in data science, feature engineering, ML, GenAI, and end-to-end solution lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms, automation workflows, and responsible AI practices.
Nice to Have
• Experience designing multi-agent AI architectures or workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Exposure to AI-driven process transformation, intelligent automation, or enterprise-scale AI platforms.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, data pipelines, and service integration.
