What You'll Do
Advanced Analysis & Insights
Conduct in-depth, ad-hoc investigations requiring advanced SQL proficiency and expert-level data table manipulation
Lead insight-driven roadmapping initiatives, identifying substantial opportunities for channel optimization based on rigorous analytical findings
Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Develop predictive models and segmentation strategies to enhance customer engagement across all communication channels
A/B Testing & Experimentation Optimization
Champion the application of statistical best practices and establish a robust, data-driven decision-making framework
Identify opportunities for and execute process improvements in testing operations, including automated Python result pulling and dynamic, real-time dashboards
Design and implement rigorous test methodologies that yield statistically significant results
Continuously refine testing approaches based on performance data and industry best practices
Data Expertise & Partnership
Serve as the primary liaison with Marketing Data Engineering, acting as the essential resource for day-to-day analytical needs including medium-term sprint planning and execution
Shape the long-term roadmap for data infrastructure and analytical capabilities
Become the recognized subject matter expert on all data tables—understanding what data is available, where it resides, how it should be utilized, and effectively communicating this knowledge across the broader team
Mentor other team members on data interpretation and analytical methodologies
Performance Reporting & Communication
Standardize channel metrics and create flexible, scalable dashboards that work across multiple stores and geographic regions
Prepare weekly and monthly performance analyses, crafting compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making
Field performance-related inquiries from Marketing Strategy & Operations (MSO) and Trends teams with accuracy and timeliness
Present findings to senior leadership with clarity and confidence
What You'll Need
Essential Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical disciplines, Economics, Business, or other quantitative-focused fields of study
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a data-intensive role within marketing, management consulting, startup/tech, finance, and/or strategy fields
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis with advanced SQL expertise, along with strong Google Sheets/Excel capabilities; genuine enthusiasm for discovering patterns within complex datasets
Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with Python is a strong plus
