Senior Accountant, Artificial Intelligence, Remote
Kforce's client, a hypergrowth Artificial Intelligence startup headquartered in the heart of midtown Manhattan (New York, NY), is seeking a Senior Accountant as it builds out its accounting team. They have a great culture and fantastic mentors in place. The accounting and finance team are in the offices once a month; This role will be very high remote. Duties will include: • Month end close • Journal entries • Account analysis • Account reconciliation • Schedules • Financial statement prep • Process improvement • Support audit Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Advanced degree a plus • At least 2 years of experience • CPA or parts passed on CPA exam are pluses • Public accounting experience is a plus • Big 4 experience a plus • SaaS or Artificial Intelligence industry experience a plus • Startup and scaling experience a plus • NetSuite experience a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
