Seeking a Clinical MSW or LPC for Part Time or PRN Position
About Us:
At Cygnus Consulting, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate mental and behavioral health services for individuals of all ages. Our integrated approach combines expertise in psychology, speech-language pathology, and applied behavior analysis to meet the needs of our clients and their families.
We are looking for a dedicated LCSW or LPC to join our growing team to deliver high-quality therapeutic services on a PRN (as-needed) or part-time basis in the Detroit and surrounding Wayne, Macomb and Oakland County areas.
Additionally, we are open to students seeking clinical hours. Students must have their own supervision provided by a licensed LCSW or LPC. This part-time or as-needed position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience while working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments, including psychosocial evaluations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, BCBAs, and speech-language pathologists.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and insurance requirements.
• Participate in clinical meetings, supervision (if applicable), and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications: For Licensed Professionals:
• Required: Active LCSW or LPC license in the state of Michigan.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (preferred).
• Strong clinical skills in therapeutic interventions, treatment planning, and counseling.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and family-centered approaches.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have your own liability insurance
For Students Seeking Clinical Hours:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited graduate program in social work or counseling.
• Must have supervision provided by a licensed LCSW or LPC (external to Cygnus Consulting).
• Strong interest in gaining practical experience with diverse client populations.
Compensation:
• Licensed Professionals: $44-$50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
• Students: $30-$35 per hour
Schedule:
• Flexible part-time or PRN schedule based on client needs
• Monday through Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM availability
• Saturday: 11 AM – 3 PM availability (optional)
• Closed Sundays
