As we scale, we're looking for a Security Engineer to join our Security team.In this role, you'll contribute to building our Security Operations (SOC) work-stream alongside another SecOps teammate, focusing on proactive threat prevention of our cloud architecture. You'll be at the frontline of our security efforts, working on: ️ Security Operations organisationUse your threat hunting capabilities to build and optimize monitoring strategies addressing critical risks in our cloud environmentContribute to scaling our internal SOC by developing and improving processes, policies, and toolingCreate and maintain security playbooks and technical playbooks to enhance team knowledge and foster autonomy and distributed ownership Security detection & responseMaintain our monitoring system, addressing triggered alerts and fighting false positivesContribute to security incident response from initial detection through containment and recoveryDrive continuous improvement through post-incident analysis and lessons learned Security at AlanParticipate in key security team activities including ISO 27001 compliance, security awareness programs, and company-wide security supportShare security best practices and knowledge with teams across the organizationBe an ambassador for security across Alan through clear communication and impactful metrics⭐️ If you have some of the following, you may be a great fit ⭐️We're looking for a Security Engineer with 5+ years in the cybersecurity field and strong threat intelligence capabilities in cloud-native environments.
