About Our Customer Service Team

Our customer service team is the heartbeat of our organization, providing timely and effective support to our customers via phone, email, and chat. As a Seasonal Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in resolving customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring that our educational materials reach the children who need them most.

Key Responsibilities


Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns or questions related to orders, accounts, or products.
Assist customers with navigating Scholastic websites and digital resources, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Accurately and efficiently enter data into multiple web-based applications, maintaining high levels of productivity and quality.
Engage with customers and colleagues with empathy and patience, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Communicate information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that customers receive the support they need.
Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
