Role Overview As a Remote Seasonal Licensed Healthcare Insurance Agent, you'll play a critical role in providing excellent customer service, assisting individuals in understanding their health insurance coverage, and selecting the right products and services to meet their needs. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, as long as you have a quiet workspace and high-speed internet. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service through a mostly inbound call model, responding to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening. Assist individuals in understanding their health insurance coverage and selecting the right products, services, and solutions to meet their personal health and financial needs. Make outbound calls to follow up with customers who have expressed interest in our services. Identify additional needs customers may have and help them upgrade products or services. Be a team player, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives. Maintain patient privacy by following HIPAA guidelines. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications: A current health insurance license in your state of residence, in good standing. At least six months of healthcare sales experience. High-speed internet access (>15 mbps). A high school diploma or equivalent. Computer savvy, with the ability to navigate various software applications. Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Bilingual skills (fluent English and Spanish), with the ability to translate healthcare coverage terminology (not just conversational). Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment. Knowledge of healthcare insurance products and services. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries in a compassionate and efficient manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
