Engage and Inspire: Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to captivate students' interest and promote critical thinking.
Monitor and Support Growth: Assess student progress through both formal and informal methods, providing constructive feedback to students and keeping parents informed.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with colleagues, including special education teachers and support staff, to address the individual needs of students with diverse learning abilities.
Communicate Effectively: Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to share updates on student progress and address any concerns or challenges.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Education or a Math-related field is required (Master's degree is a plus).
Certification: Valid teaching certification/license in Illinois.
Experience: Prior experience teaching in a general education setting is preferred.
Expertise: Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and best instructional practices.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
