Position Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced School Social Worker to provide virtual counseling and support services to K-12 students in Pennsylvania. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to address student needs and promote academic and social success. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, with 2-3 days of work per week, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities: Virtual Counseling and Support: Provide virtual counseling sessions to K-12 students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to help students overcome barriers to academic and social success. Collaboration: Collaborate with Pennsylvania school administrators, teachers, and families to create a supportive learning environment. Assessments and Interventions: Conduct assessments and provide interventions aligned with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Group Sessions: Facilitate group sessions on topics such as social skills, coping strategies, and conflict resolution. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to Pennsylvania and federal regulations. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Licensure: Active licensure as a School Social Worker in Pennsylvania. Professional Educators License: Professional Educators License in the state of Pennsylvania. Education: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school or virtual setting. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Technical Requirements: Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and virtual communication tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Teletherapy: Experience working with teletherapy platforms and virtual communication tools.
