A contract position is available for a dedicated Counselor to support high school students in Anaheim, CA. This role focuses on providing critical emotional and academic guidance, working directly with students to foster a positive and productive learning environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in school counseling, social work within educational settings, or marriage and family therapy. Key responsibilities include: • Providing individual and group counseling sessions tailored to student needs • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success • Developing intervention plans for students facing social, emotional, or academic challenges • Facilitating crisis intervention and conflict resolution initiatives • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student support services Desired qualifications and experience: • Proven experience as a School Counselor, School Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist in educational environments • Strong understanding of adolescent development and effective counseling techniques • Ability to work with diverse student populations and collaborate effectively with school staff • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Relevant licensure or certification as required for counselor, social worker, or therapist roles in schools This school-year contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a critical phase in students' development.
