Maintenance Technician

They are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the operation of machinery and equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of defective equipment.ResponsibilitiesReplace defective equipment parts then set specified clearances and adjust alignment of moving and stationary parts using hand and power toolsWeld, repair and fabricate equipment or machinery as necessaryFabricate and dismantle parts, equipment, and machines using a cutting torch or other cutting equipmentEnsures operation of machinery and equipment by executing preventive maintenance requirements, interpreting technical drawings or diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instruction and engineering specificationsDocuments work performed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) in order to build equipment history by creating, retrieving and closing work ordersRed-line drawings when discrepancies are identified between a drawing and actual plant conditionsMaintains a clean, organized, and safe work area by complying with documentation, procedural, and applicable regulatory requirements (such as safety, environmental and housekeeping.)Attends and participates in required trainingUnderstands and follows all organizational policies, procedures and rules, ensuring that all laws are obeyed, and equal employment, safety and environmental protection are practicedMust be able to work more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week on any shift or travel as neededExperience using hand tools on mechanical equipmentKnowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systemsInquisitive mind and love learning how things workImprove systems and processes to deliver a better and more consistent end-product to our customersMust be excellent at working task lists to completion alone or as part of a teamWe are also looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in electrical troubleshooting and repair with devices such as 3-phase motors, relays, PLC’s, and VFD’s. We will provide job-specific training in the fieldDemonstrating leadership skills in the fieldLead with new car wash installations and site launchesComplete work orders, weekly timesheets, and repair logsTroubleshoot and repair defective equipmentPerform routine preventative maintenanceTrain staff in the operation, preventative maintenance, and repair of car wash equipment.
